Aeron is designed to be the highest throughput with the lowest and most predictable latency of any messaging system.
Developed by an ex-colleague Martin Thompson and Todd Montgomery, Aeron helped us achieve 80 µs end-to-end for 99.9% on our latest exchange, before we even started tuning it.
Built on top of Aeron, Artio is a high performance FIX engine, which we used on our latest exchange. Artio's threading model made it easy to integrate into the end to end test framework we developed on the project.
